Sal's KV Saga: Part 1


Sal was telling us about the day in 1933 when Al Smith ceremoniously began the construction of Knickerbocker Village. We paused the saga to speak to KV manager Vincent Callagy.

March 17, 2009: Live From Knickerbocker Village



I visited KV on Tuesday to meet with long time resident and tenant committee veteran, Bob Wilson. We were going to discuss the possibility of an on-site KV Museum using some of the pictures I've been archiving. Bob is on the right in the picture above and Sal Barone is in the top picture. I soon discovered on that day that Sal Barone would become the video version of Cliff's KV Notes.
