This is a scan from an excellent book on New York City maps by John Tauranac. I added a red square near Forsythe and Grand to show where George and Ira Gershwin lived in 1910. The red circle near Hester and Allen shows where Yip Harburg lived in 1900. Yip Harburg and Ira Gershwin would become friendly when they both attended Townshend Harris High school in Manhattan.
