Around the corner going south on Rutger's Street there's either a small synagogue or church (is that a cross?). Those buildings are gone as there is now a vest pocket park on Rutgers and Henry (Captain Joseph's) and also demolition must have taken place due to the construction of the IND subway line. The now picture (look in the first frame of the movie below) has inserts of some of the famous people who have dined at the Garden: Emma Goldman, Fidel Castro, Leon Trotsky and Jerry Stiller. The restaurant got shifted to the building with the billiard parlor
