Who's Who In Knickerbocker Village History: Neal Hellman

We have a new addition to the KY Boys' club, Neal Hellman. I asked Marty B recently, "Whose home in Knickerbocker did you enjoy visiting the most?" Without missing a beat he responded, "Neal Hellman." Why? He had a whole room devoted to a train set and his parents were real nice and his mom baked delicious home made knishes. Neal moved from KV when he was 9 to Brooklyn. I tracked him down via the internet in Santa Cruz, California. He has his own record label and is an expert on the construction and playing of dulcimers. Makes sense, since his dad was a machinist who had a sewing machine shop on Pike Street. Marty says that Neal is a very modest guy and doesn't ever refer to a relative who invented Hellman's Mayo. He's kidding of course.I took even more extended liberties with his photo by adding "Aunt Lillian"
