Benny Goodman Explains Ornithology

Wouldn't you know it I could have had Benny explain this to me
In the third tune of this 4 part taped in 1967 Benny explains how many of the famous improvisers in jazz would use the chords of a certain tune and create a new melody and make that jazz wise even more famous.
One of Charlie Parker's most famous compositions was a tune called ORNITHOLOGY.
