McGuire Sisters

PBS was fund raising (isn't everybody these days)and they had this 50's special on. Contrast the music swing era with this dreck (mostly, I actually liked the McGuire Sisters) What was I thinking? What was going on? Was it the McCarthy era that made the music so void of character and meaning. No wonder rock and roll, to my chagrin, eventually triumphed.
