The site of the Madoff-related Turkish Baths. Though the numbered fire escape and metal sign bracket does not appear to come from #9 Essex, since that building has been demolished, it looks very much the same. Note the street lamp is the same. The original story involving the bath house gives a better view of 9 Essex Street in the 1930's.
