Cliff talked about the chimney and the balls he retrieved from Herman Bogdish in Chapter 13 of Cliff's KV notes
Herman evidently was an interesting character who passed away in 1991 at the age of 91.

As far as I know, Herman wasn't married. He was a lady's man and had a blond girlfriend that my father said was his "sister." Herman retired early, living off his investments. In the summer, he spent a lot of time at the Brooklyn beaches which resulted in a very deep tan.
