These buildings were later torn down to create a playground for PS 1. The banner that lists candidates for the upcoming 1933 elections has these names:John O'Brien, Daniel Finn, Albert Marinelli, Samuel Levy, David Mahoney, Leonard Crouch, William C. Dodge, Frank Prial, James Dooling, M. Maldwin Fertig, James Madigan, Gwen Bohan and a few more that are undecipherable. Many of them would later be either indicted or accused of some kind of fraud or corruption.
