I would guess that Marks has left the businesses to his sons while he dabbles in real estate. In 1930 that's what he lists as his profession. He's living in a more fashionable part of Brooklyn and it looks like Minnie may have passed away. He has a new wife named Ida and I would guess a step-daughter named Ray who is 22 (age not visible above)
