In 1918, Laura's paternal grandparents lived at this address. Joseph Nigro was an Italian tailor. Esther Nigro (Passov) was Jewish. Joseph, Laura's father, was born in 1915. My mother lived across the street at 516 E. 11th in the 1930's.
