Eldridge Street In The Book Lush Life

Above we follow in the footsteps of the main characters on a fateful night in a key scene of Lush Life. It takes place on the LES with key scenes at the Smith Projects (called the Lemlichs). Here the journey starts at Norfolk and Rivington at Schiller’s Liquor Bar, the model for Café Berkmann in the book. We proceed west on Rivington to Eldridge and then turn south.
