The Solerwitz Saga: Part 1, Solerwitz's Furniture Store

I'm giving away one of the answers from the mystery quiz. The Solerwitz furniture was located here back in 1960's. I remember it well. It was from Mr. Solerwitz that my parents bought furniture for our new apartment in Warbasse in the spring of 1964. I don't remember which Solerwitz, there were brothers I recall, except he was big and burly and had a messy desk, It was the first time I remember us buying new furniture and it was a big deal. I still remember looking at Thomasville catalogues as a distraction while intense and embarrassing price negotiations were taking place. My recollection is that the drama was on the level of Stevenson vs. the Russians at the Security Council during the missile crisis.

I remember Charlie Solerwitz. We bought all of our furniture there while living in KV. Charlie had a dog, a boxer, named Duke. When I was little Charlie would sit me on Duke's back.
